‘Tax us? Then marry us’

By From page A3 | April 18, 2012

Supporters of Marriage Equality USA hold signs as they protest Tuesday in front of the Davis post office as last-minute income tax filers arrive to mail their returns. Chatting with the demonstrators is Tim Paulson, left. Also protesting on the curb in front of the post office at Fifth Street and Pole Line Road were members of a group dubbed “We Are the 99%” who were honoring those who pay their fair tax burden and protesting those in the top 1 percent who don’t.
