Third day of lost power in North Davis

By From page A2 | July 12, 2012

Another day, another power outage in North Davis — this one to repair damaged equipment discovered during a previous outage, according to PG&E.

The lights went out at about 10 a.m. Wednesday, affecting about 100 customers primarily on Balboa, Cabrillo, Del Oro and Anza avenues, PG&E spokeswoman Brandi Ehlers said. Power was restored at about 4 p.m.

Ehlers said the outage was induced by PG&E to repair damaged equipment discovered during a 10-hour power outage in North Davis on Tuesday. The neighborhood also endured lost power on Monday as a result of underground equipment failure.
