The 11th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund Award dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at the St. James Community Center, 1275 B St. in Davis.
The MLK scholarship winners are Davis High School’s Amani Lee and Pioneer High’s Robia Amjad. The Nelson Mandela World Peace award will be presented to Mary Anne Kirsch of Davis.
The event helps deserving students obtain a quality education by raising funds to help with their college expenses. Tickets are $50 per person.
Entertainment will be provided by actor Felix Justice, who will present a speech as Martin Luther King Jr.
