By From page A4 | December 11, 2012

Center City Automotive will accept donation of Toys for Tots from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 300 Madson Place in Davis, just off Fifth Street between Pole Line Road and the Davis Police Department. Local residents are invited to drop off new, unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Toys program.

Santa Claus will be on hand to accept the toys, hand out candy canes and pose for pictures, so bring your cameras!

The mission of the program is to distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the local community.

Those who can’t attend the special collection may drop off their toys between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays in Center City Automotive’s customer lobby.

Toys and gifts for children up to age 14 are welcome, and may include sporting equipment, bags and balls; books; backpacks; cosmetics; purses; watch/wallet gift sets; bath gift sets; board games; radio-control cars and trucks; hand-held electronics; skateboards and helmets; and curling irons, hair straighteners and hair dryers.
