Tri-school online plant sale under way

By March 24, 2011

Spring should be just around the corner, and students from three Davis schools want to help you beautify your garden.

Birch Lane and Korematsu elementary schools, along with the Davis High School chapter of Future Farmers of America, are holding an online sale of all the plants, veggies, herbs and succulents your garden needs. Proceeds will benefit the garden programs at the three schools.

Online sales are under way now at http://www.mykorematsu.com/plant-sale/ and will continue until Wednesday, April 6. Customers may order and pay online and choose one of three pickup days and locations:

* Wednesday, April 13, from 1 to 5:30 p.m. at Birch Lane Elementary, 1600 Birch Lane;

* Thursday, April 14, from 12:30 to 6 p.m. on the Oak Avenue side of Davis High School; and

* Friday, April 15, from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at Korematsu Elementar, 3100 Loyola Drive.
