Fabio sweeps Ian Finch of West Sacramento, a UC Davis employee, into his arms during an appearance Friday afternoon at Davis’ Whole Foods Market. The grocer at First and E streets had a “meet and greet” with Fabio Lanzoni, the world-famous Italian fashion model, spokesperson, author and actor, who has appeared on the covers of countless romance novels. Fabio visited Davis as part of a summer West Coast Whole Foods store tour to promote a natural line of whey protein called Healthy Planet Protein Powder. The star also offered autographs and posed for customer photos. Over the weekend, he planned to also make appearances at Whole Foods stores in Sacramento, Roseville and Folsom. Wayne Tilcock/Enterprise photo
