Twitter and Davis on ‘Davisville’

By From page A4 | June 06, 2012

Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project says 8 percent of Americans use Twitter daily. If that percentage holds true for Davis, then the town has more than 5,000 daily tweeters.

Two of the most avid are Danielle DeBow and Blake Cooper. They created Davis TweetUp, which seeks to connect Davis professionals to support local businesses and the community. On the latest edition of “Davisville” they explain what that means, the different ways they use Twitter themselves, and how it all ties in to Davis.

“Davisville,” hosted by Bill Buchanan, airs on KDRT, 95.7 FM, at 5:30 p.m. Mondays, 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. and midnight Saturdays and midnight Sundays. The interview with Cooper and DeBow debuted Monday, and will be broadcast through June 17. It also is available in the KDRT archives at http://www.kdrt.org/node/9514.
