By From page A3 | May 30, 2013

Rep. John Garamendi, D-Walnut Grove, has set dates for a series of town hall-style meetings, including one from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St.

Garamendi will discuss issues relating to senior citizens — including proposed changes to Social Security and Medicare — followed by a question-and-answer session on any topics of interest to 3rd District constituents.

Members of the congressman’s staff also will be on hand to assist residents with unresolved issues they may have with federal agencies, like veterans’ affairs or immigration.

The other scheduled meetings:

* May 13: 1 to 2:30 p.m., Trilogy Vista Club, 1201 Clubhouse Drive, in Rio Vista; 4 to 6 p.m., McBride Senior Center, 91 Town Square Place in Vacaville.

* May 31: Noon to 2 p.m., Yuba City Senior Center, 777 Ainsley Ave.
