This has been going on since the 90's, I watched my mother stress out reading, some nights 90 research papers in a weekend. Teacher's then dropped their standards so they didn't have to deal with grading papers and then students would write bad teacher evans if prof'a tried to implement standards of education like students needing to be able to write about the courses they were studying. More and more classes required multiple choice tests with study guides where a student could find all the answers that would be on the test, meaning class was virtually optional. I know people who were drunk 80% of their time as undergrads at UCD and who now have degrees like Masters in education. Many UCD departments have been a joke and have been for a long time.
