The UC Davis Center for Watershed Science will host a brown bag discussion of the center’s new book, “Managing California’s Water: From Conflict to Reconciliation,” from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, in the MUII of the Memorial Union on campus.
Speakers will include UCD professors Jeffrey Mount, Peter Moyle and Richard Howitt, who will describe the deterioration of the state’s water management system on both economic and environmental fronts and discuss how ambitious and comprehensive reforms can develop a sustainable strategy for managing one of the state’s most precious resources. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
