UCD to host pulmonary fibrosis seminar

UC Davis Medical Center will host activities for people with pulmonary fibrosis, their families and their caregivers from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Mondavi Center.

The seminar “Understanding Pulmonary Fibrosis,” will include discussion of diagnostic criteria, management strategies, research initiatives and lung transplantation. Planned in collaboration with the medical centers at Stanford University and UC San Francisco, the event will conclude with a question-and-answer session.

The fee is $15, which includes lunch and all education materials. Medical oxygen tank refills will be provided at no additional cost.

Reservations are requested by Monday and may be made by sending a check payable to UC Regents to Tina Tham, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, UC Davis Medical Center, 4150 V St., Suite 3400, Sacramento, CA 95817.
