Arboretum talk focuses on medicines from nature

Ted Molinski, a professor at UC San Diego and the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, will discuss the development of medicines from plants and other natural sources at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the UC Davis Arboretum.

Molinski’s informal discussion, which will be free and open to the public, will be held at Wyatt Deck off Old Davis Road. Co-sponsored by UCD’s chemistry department, the talk is part of the Arboretum’s “Science Cafe” series.

Parking will be available for $6 in Visitor Lot 5, at Old Davis Road and A Street.
