UC Davis

Hospital to host gaming party on wheels

By From page A7 | October 18, 2013

Kids are invited to get their game on for free at the Game Truck, a sort of mobile video gaming party, from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at the UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

Sixteen people at a time can play the truck’s multiplayer games for Xbox, Playstation and the Nintendo Wii on high-definition televisions. The truck will be parked on 45th Street between Second Avenue and Y Street in Sacramento.

Bringing in the Game Truck is a way to thank families for their continued support, according to the hospital.

Families are invited to stay for the UC Davis Health System Farmers Market, held on Thursdays from 3 to 7:30 p.m. in the adjacent Parking Lot 12. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Attendees are invited to bring their own chairs or picnic blanket.
