1,000-plus Aggies set to graduate

UC Davis will celebrate the graduation of hundreds of undergraduates in a ceremony at the ARC Pavilion at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The annual fall commencement will mark the graduation of students from four colleges. About 700 are expected to participate.

A total of 1,049 undergraduates have applied to graduate with the following degrees at the conclusion of the fall quarter:

* College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences: 220 bachelor of science degrees;

* College of Biological Sciences: seven bachelor of arts (A.B.) degrees and 168 bachelor of science (B.S.) degrees;

* College of Engineering: 93 B.S.; and

* Letters and Science: 440 A.B., five bachelor of arts and sciences degrees, and 597 B.S.

Tickets are required for each guest except children under the age of 2. The ceremony is shown live on the web and is available on demand after the event at http://commencementvideo.ucdavis.edu.
