There are still a handful of openings for the upcoming ” Shakespeare Works When Shakespeare Plays” conference that will take place Friday through Sunday at the Mondavi Center at UC Davis.

“Shakespeare Works When Shakespeare Plays” includes workshops for middle and high school teachers of theater and English. Actors, directors and producers from some of the world’s greatest Shakespeare companies and festivals will help teachers discover exciting new ways to make Shakespeare come alive for their students. Teaching artists from some of the world’s most respected Shakespeare Theatres will lead the workshops.

The conference is presented by the UCD School of Education and the Mondavi Center, in association with Globe Education (Shakespeare’s Globe, London) and the Shakespeare Theatre Association.

Registration is $349 for individuals or $299 each for groups of five or more. For more information about the event, visit http://shakespeareplays.org.
