University historian will speak at UC Davis

Roger Geiger, a professor of education at Pennsylvania State University, will discuss “The Past and Future of the Innovative University” at the next in a series of Provost’s Forums on the Public University and the Social Good. Geiger will speak from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in the Multipurpose Room at the Student Community Center on the UC Davis campus. The program is free and open to the public.

Geiger, one of the foremost historians on the American university, studies the history of American higher education and research universities.
