Vintage Valentine’s Day tea in Woodland

The Woodland Library Rose Club will host its fifth annual Valentine’s Tea fundraiser from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, in the historic Woodland Carnegie Library rotunda, 250 First St.

The event showcases antique place settings of colorful china cups and tea pots, silver and bouquets of flowers. Each guest will enjoy three tasty courses that include an assortment of appetizers, finger sandwiches and a variety of special desserts, starting with a selection of tea choices.

While guests dine, they will enjoy a harpist entertain, may bid on drawing prizes, and will have fun trying on vintage hats to wear during the tea. Attire is Sunday best and hats are encouraged.

Ticket are $25 per person and are on sale through Friday, Jan. 31. Make reservations by calling 530-668-9918.
