Visit Heidrick Ag History Center on Museum Day

By
From page A4 | January 24, 2014 |

The Heidrick Ag History Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, for Museum Day, a regional event. Visitors will see tractors, trucks, touring cars, hot rods and early engines and can imagine how it felt to cultivate and harvest a food crop with these old-time machines dating back to the 1890s.

There will be a special preview of the East Wing for Museum Day. There also will be monster tractors, a live local band and gourmet food trucks. The Putah Creek Crawdads will perform between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Heidrick Ag History Center is at 1962 Hays Lane in Woodland. For more information, call 530-666-9700 or visit www.aghistory.org for directions.
