Volunteers sought for winter shelter

The Interfaith Rotating Winter Shelter is seeking volunteers to help from now through March 15.
Volunteers must be 18 or older or supervised by an adult. Positions available include:

* Intake: A 5 to 6:30 p.m. shift to screen guests at 345 L St.;

* Drivers: Transporting guests between 6 to 7 p.m. from the intake facility to the current host site;

* Host site check-in: From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. helping with check-in, distributing sleeping bags and assigning cleanup chores; and

* Overnights: From 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., a team of two to four volunteers split the night to supervise, check in bags in the morning and oversee cleanup.
