Volvo enthusiasts from throughout Northern California will bring their cars to Davis’ Central Park Pavilion on Sunday, May 15, for their 13th annual car show and club meeting. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Featured will be rare and original Volvo cars from the 1950s onward, including 544s, 1800s, 120s and later models. As many as 125 cars are expected, some from as far away as Oregon and Southern California. Prizes will be awarded to the top cars in each class.
The Davis meet is co-sponsored by the Golden Gate and Sacramento chapters of the Volvo Club of America, and has become the largest Volvo club event in California.
Davis area residents are welcome to attend. There is no charge to walk through, but entry of a car in the show costs $25. More information is available at http://www.ggvcoa.org.
