By From page A8 | January 04, 2013

The Davis Waldorf School is sponsoring a Dandelion Play Group on three Saturdays this winter/spring, offering an introduction to play the Waldorf way. Preschool teacher Trisha Lambert will lead the sessions, which will include inside and outside playtime.

Children will have a chance to play and explore in a protected environment and parents will be able to practice quiet parenting techniques. A light snack will be provided.

Sessions will run from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays, Jan. 19, Feb. 16 and March 16, at the school, 3100 Sycamore Lane in North Davis.

In addition, two parent information nights are scheduled, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 15 and March 12.

The program is open to children age 1 and walking through age 3. One non-mobile babe-in-arms may attend the class with his or her older sibling.

The fee is $60. To register, visit www.daviswaldorf.org, call the school office at 530-753-1651 or email [email protected],
