Jesse Ortiz has experience as a school board member and with the community college, but his very limited experience in the K-12 schools was over twenty years ago. We need a superintendent with direct classroom and administrative experience. Sam Neustadt has been a teacher, principal and assistant superintendent in the K-12 school system and he currently oversees these same programs in Solano County. He is a long time resident of Yolo County and would bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to these important programs.
