By From page A5 | October 18, 2011

Rose M. Borunda will lead a discussion of her book, “What is the Color of Your Heart?,” from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Community Room 800 at Woodland Community College, 2300 E. Gibson Road in Woodland. Her appearance is sponsored by the Cross Cultural Series at the college.

Borunda, an associate professor at Sacramento State University, will discuss the inspiration for her book, which provides a humanist approach to diversity by way of a “fresh cast of historical and modern-day figures whose values were rooted in humanist ideas that flourished into social justice activism,” as stated by publisher Kendall Hunt.
