Wine-tasting festival benefits St. James

The eighth annual St. James Wine-Tasting Festival is planned for Saturday, March 5, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the St. James Memorial Center, 1275 B St., Davis.

This social event embraces the parish community as well as the greater community in Davis and the surrounding areas. It is also a fundraiser to supports the church’s Memorial Center.

The event will highlight more than a dozen local wineries, and will include a silent auction, olive oil tasting, hors d’oeuvres and dessert tasting from local restaurants.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Tickets will be available after Mass on Saturday and Sunday and at the St. James Pastoral Office, (530) 756-3636.  For more information, contact chairwoman Gloria Widner at [email protected]
