The 13th annual Winkler Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science.
The annual event will include a five-course gourmet dinner, individually prepared by professional chefs. Dinner courses will be paired with premium wines, introduced by the winemakers who donated them. The dinner will be accompanied by live music as well as silent and live auctions.
The dinner is put on by members of DEVO, the student-run organization of the Department of Viticulture and Enology. It supports the activities DEVO puts on throughout the year such as group winemaking projects, educational wine tastings, alumni events and immersion trips to various wine regions. It also funds international scholarship awards for students wishing to work abroad.
