Winters hosts quilt festival

Local residents who love fabric arts are invited to the third annual Winters Outdoor Quilt and Textile Art Festival, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in downtown Winters.

The quilts and textile art will move indoors if it rains, organizers said.

“We put on this event to help promote tourism in Winters and to showcase many of our local quilters,” said Jan Bawart, owner of Cloth Carousel.
