WOH to hold auditions for ‘A Christmas Carol’

The Woodland Opera House will hold auditions for the Alan Menken musical version of the classic, “A Christmas Carol,” at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, and Monday, Aug. 18, at the theater, 340 Second St. All roles are open. The show has a large ensemble of singers and dancers.

Please come to auditions with a prepared song and the sheet music (32 bars maximum length). Dress to dance and bring a water bottle.

Rehearsals will begin in late September and the show performs Nov. 28 through Dec. 21 on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. The show is directed by Bob Cooner, with music direction by Dan Pool and choreography by Andrea St. Clair.
