Workshop offers look at local government

By April 14, 2011

Yolo County Board of Supervisors Chair Matt Rexroad and Dotty Pritchard, his chief of staff, will host a local government workshop from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors chambers, 625 Court St. in Woodland.

The free workshop will include a behind-the-scenes look at county government and a short walking tour of the County Administration Building.

“Yolo County recently completed another successful Resident’s Academy (Yolo 101) series,” Rexroad said. “For those that participated and want just a little more, or for those who missed this series, this local government workshop will allow you to visit county departments and learn how county government works for you.”
