William Powers, national bestselling author of “Twelve by Twelve: A One Room Cabin Off the Grid & Beyond the American Dream,” will present a workshop, “How Much is Enough?,” from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, in the fellowship hall at the United Methodist Church, 1620 Anderson Road, Davis.
The workshop will include a lecture, slides and breakout groups, plus local insights from special guest Spring Warren, Davis author of “Quarter Acre Farm: How I kept the Patio, Lost the Lawn, and Fed My Family for a Year.”
The workshop, with its tips on living sustainably and with a joyful heart, is appropriate for adults and teens. The public is invited.
The suggested donation at the door is $10 to $20 per person. Simple refreshments will be served. To keep this a zero-waste event, organizers invite attendees to bring their own cup.
