Yes "clearly" this appointment is because of your perception of President Obama's "stature." You say "now rolling over for Wall Street" yet Wall Street favored Summers ("...Yellen is seen as more skeptical of Wall Street than Summers..."). So for you Wall Street's preference is "more principled."

Clearly this represents an unwanted compromise for Obama whose stature was weakened by the recent failure in the Syria situation. He is now rolling over for Wall Street instead of sticking to his more principled choice of Larry Summers. Now, we can continue printing money and destroying the dollar (along with the income of responsible savers and seniors) and keep putting more air in the stock market bubble.
