The Yolo County Health Department will host several free seasonal influenza vaccination clinics this fall:
* Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Westmore Oaks School, 1100 Clarendon Road in West Sacramento;
* Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Winters Community Center, 201 Railroad Ave. in Winters;
* Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Esparto Fire Department, 16960 Yolo Ave. in Esparto; and
* Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at Douglass Middle School, 52 Granada Drive in Woodland.
The Health Department also will provide flu shots at the Davis Senior Center Health Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at 646 A St. in Davis. A $10 administrative fee will be charged, which may be waived in some cases.
Additionally, the Health Department also provides seasonal flu shots for $10 each as part of the regularly scheduled immunization clinic held every Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. at 137 N. Cottonwood St. in Woodland. Those unable to pay for the vaccine will not be turned away.
