Young people in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint — from left, Kristen Hartley, Ryan Stevens, Maren Barney and Vaughan Chadderton — organize a pile of new and gently used shoes that were donated Saturday to their “Soles4Souls” service project. The effort was part of an LDS Youth Conference held in Davis over the weekend for teenagers ages 14 to 18 in the Woodland Stake, which includes eight congregations in Davis, Woodland, Winters and Dixon. The shoes will be donated to victims of the recent killer tornadoes in the Midwest. Sue Cockrell/Enterprise photo
