Annamarie Barros, left, receives an Assembly proclamation from Assemblywoman Mariko Yamada, D-Davis, in honor her recent recognition as 2013 Member of the Year from the Yolo Cabrillo Civic Club No. 26. Barros was selected for her years of dedicated community and club service. The award was announced at the Cabrillo Day Heritage Dinner, which celebrates the heritage of the Portuguese members as well as generating funds for scholarships and local community charities.
