Wild turkeys are courting all over Davis. North Davis Park, where many roost in the Memorial Grove, has courtings going on morning and evening. This male was strutting his stuff on Del Oro Avenue. For half an hour he circled the drab female who seemed to have little interest but did not run away. The stiff feathers dragged on the pavement creates an unusual sound.
