An architectural rendering of Duba's Sustainable City is based on principles employed at UC Davis' West Village, a net zero energy development. The project will be built by Dubai-based Diamond Developers. Similar in size to West Village, the Sustainable City is designed to provide housing for about 2,500 people on 120 acres while it aims to save 60 percent more energy and water than conventional structures in Dubai.
