Children admire the street mandala painted Sunday in the intersection of Fourth and K streets in Old East Davis. The mandala was created by artist Mark Rivera, working with a team of volunteers, many from the immediate neighborhood. The circular mural is 40 feet across and its design reflects the bicycle-friendly nature of the town. It should help with traffic-calming, Rivera said. Courtesy photo
