Visitors stroll the path leading into the Native American Contemplative Garden in the UC Davis Arboretum. The garden, dedicated in 2009, honors the land's original inhabitants and features more than 34 varieties of plants used by the Patwin people for food, medicine, basketry and more. A docent-led tour Saturday will highlight some of these plants and their traditional uses. UC Davis/Courtesy photo
