By January 02, 2013

Roland Petersen’s oil painting, “Blue Vase with Flowers” (1964), is one of the centerpieces of the Art Center’s collection, amassed mainly during the 1960s and 1970s. Over the years, the collection grew to encompass more than 150 works of art, many by artists who went on to become nationally recognized, including Petersen, Wayne Thiebaud, Richard Nelson, Robert Bechtle and David Gilhooly.
