Obit Form

This form is for paid obituaries, which will be published in their entirety, allowing the family to control the wording and timing. Photographs and flags for military or ex-military personnel may be included in paid obituaries. Please contact (530) 747-8088 or obit@davisenterprise.net for more information.

As a courtesy, a free death notice may be placed in The Davis Enterprise. The brief notice will contain the deceased’s name, age, city of residence, occupation, date of death and funeral information. Photographs and flags not included. Please do not use this form. Instead, call (530) 747-8051 or e-mail newsroom@davisenterprise.net for more information or to submit a free death notice. If an obituary or death notice is placed by a private party, it must be confirmed through a funeral home or mortuary.

Most announcements submitted by Monday will run the following day or the day after that.

Please don't abbreviate anything to avoid misunderstandings. Always refer to married women by their own first name (Mary Jones, not Mrs. John Jones), and use their maiden name.

Please put the spouse-elect with the strongest Davis connection at the top.
