Bea was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with a fiery spirit, a love for making other laugh and a keen knack of understanding the needs of her family and friends. She was also strongly devoted to her Savior Jesus Christ and her church, serving in numerous leadership positions.

She is survived by her husband Gordon, children Tom Mitchell (Debbi), Martha Rizzo(Robert) and Bill Mitchell (Lynne), as well as her six grandchildren, Jimmy and Christi Mitchell; Michael Rizzo; Elizabeth, Stephanie and Billy Mitchell.

Friends are encouraged to attend her funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, April 8 at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation, 1701 Russell Blvd., Davis, CA 95616, with a burial service to follow at 3 p.m. at the Davis Cemetery, 820 Pole Line Road. A memorial service will also be held on Saturday, April 9, at St. John’s Retirement Village, 135 Woodland Ave., Woodland, CA 95695. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John’s Retirement Village and the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation. She will be missed terribly and treasured forever.
