Dec. 23, 1980 – Feb. 27, 2011

Carrie Ann Bishop, born on Dec. 23, 1980, suddenly left us on Feb. 27, 2011, in Rancho Palos Verdes, after a long search for peace and comfort in the arms of her Heavenly father. Carrie attended Independence High School in Roseville, and American River and Sacramento City colleges. She worked as an information technology specialist for both the state of California and the UC Davis Campus Union. She loved to volunteer at KDVS radio and was supported by many friends in the Davis community, SACYPAA and St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her parents, Peter and Laura Bishop; brother, James Bishop; and grandmother, Donnie Shawcroft, all of Roseville. Donations in her memory may be sent to NAMI-Yolo, P.O. Box 447, Davis, CA 95617. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service to begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at East Valley Church, 7801 Hazel Ave. in Orangevale, CA 95662.
