Death notice: James Thomas Feather

James ‘Jim’ Thomas Feather was born on Oct. 24, 1935, to Allen and Leona Feather near Waverly, Neb. He died on July 19, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.

He worked for Pioneer Corn Co. in Indiana and the UC Davis agriculture department, and owned/managed three separate printing businesses in Sacramento and Davis until health problems necessitated selling the business in 2006.

A celebration of life memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, at the University Covenant Church, 315 Mace Blvd., where Jim and his family were regular attendees.
