Death notice: Richard Gray Brownell

Richard (Dick) Gray Brownell died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, in Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Francisco having fought illness the past year. Born in Woodland on Feb. 29, 1940, he was 72. He has called Vacaville home for the past 38 years. A viewing is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista Ave. in Vacaville, with a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Friday. A reception at Vacaville’s Courtyard Marriott, 120 Nut Tree Parkway, will follow. Burial with military honors will be held at a future date in Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
