Beth (as she was known by her friends) passed away suddenly and peacefully at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Vacaville on the morning of Jan. 8, 2014.
Beth was born in Topeka, Kan., on Nov. 15, 1935. She married Robert D. Barrow in Roseburg, Ore., on Dec. 16, 1953, and they moved to Davis in 1970 where they continued to live. She is survived by her husband; daughters Kathleen Glassman of Davis and Allison Turner of Modesto; her son, Michael Barrow of Texas; and her granddaughter, Jordan Glassman. Beth was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Barrow, and her brother, John R. Benson.
Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved life and her favorite times were spent on the island of Kauai with friends and family. She loved to dance; she and Bob were members of the Davis Dance Club for many years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

There will be an open house to celebrate Beth’s life at the Davis Senior Center (Valente Room) on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite charity, Citizens Who Care, 409 Lincoln Ave., Woodland, CA 95695.
