Frank G. Pearce passed away on March 27, 2011, at the age of 92. Frank was born in Terre Haute, Ind., on Sept. 17, 1918. He attended Rose Hulman for undergraduate work and received his doctorate from MIT.

Frank worked as a chemical engineer and information systems executive for Amoco Oil Co. for 35 years. He was married to Rose Pearce for 54 years, before her death in 1986. Frank is survived by his three children with Rose: Judith Hill of Overland Park, Kan.; Stephen Pearce of Chico; and Christine Camin of San Ramon. With the marriages of their children, Frank and Rose were blessed with two sons-in-law, Steve and Ron, and a daughter-in-law, Beverly. Their seven grandchildren — Reese, Nicole, Benjamin, Matthew, Stephanie, Daniel and Emily — were the light of their lives.

Frank found love again with Marjorie Crandall and they enjoyed 15 years together. With this marriage, Frank’s family grew to include Jack and Cathy Raycraft and their children, Christi and Sean.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church of Davis, 640 Hawthorn Lane, with burial following at Davis Cemetery, 820 Pole Line Road.
