Helen Mary De Angelis, 95, of El Macero passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. She had been an area resident for 17 years.

Helen was born Jan. 31, 1919 in New York, N.Y. to Ruth Ann and Maurice Longfellow. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Edward De Angelis, daughter, Judi Colleton and son-in-law, John Kinsella. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ann Kinsella; grandchildren Sean, Helen, Kathryn (Dean Soloaga), and Kevin Kinsella, Michael (Debbie) and Craig (Katarina) Welsh and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 14th and B streets in Davis.
