Rutledge, Henry & Melba

Jan. 4, 1932 — July 25, 2010;
Oct. 11, 1926 — Sept. 5, 2012

Henry and Melba were married on Valentines’ Day 1958. They moved to Davis in 1964 and were active members of the Christian Science Church of Davis. Henry retired from teaching language after a 28-year career, 24 years at Woodland High School. Melba retired from Pacific Telephone Company after a 37-year career.

They are survived by his sister, Ann Holm of Broomall, Pa.; her sister, Bobbie Moses of Fair Oaks; eight nieces and nephews; and their children. They were loved by all who knew them.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St. All are welcome.
