Joyce Ann Tusan-Dalton left this Earth on Sept. 5, 2011. She passed away surrounded by loved ones and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dalton, and her father, William Tusan.
She is survived by her daughter and spouse Sarah Vogt (Gary Vogt), son and spouse Stephen Dalton (Tammy Rominger), mother Evelyn Gscheidle, sister Janet Ward and grandchildren Jackson Vogt, Naomi Rominger, Jessie Rominger and Isaiah Rominger. She is remembered by many friends, colleagues and students.
Her passions in life included the arts, education, travel, music and nature. She taught art at Vanden High School in Fairfield for 13 years. She will be remembered as a person with a unique sense of humor and creativity. She always loved people with all she had and reminded them of that whenever possible.
A memorial service is planned at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Pathway Church, 439 Second St., Woodland.
