Martha died peacefully March 28, 2013, as a result of complications from a brain tumor. Martha was born in Oakland on Oct. 25, 1946, and raised in Vacaville; she graduated from Vacaville High School in 1964.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Geraldine Porter, and is survived by her husband, Fred Gipe; her children, Valerie Criner, Albert Hatfield and Albert’s wife Jenna; and her beloved grandchildren, Bobbi Jo and Wyatt Criner, Riley,Tate, Reid and Burke Hatfield. She is also survived by her sister Donna, and her children.

Martha will be remembered for her love of family, and her love of animals. She was a very generous person, and a dear and loyal friend to many.

Martha was a faithful and zealous servant of her God Jehovah. We will miss Martha very much. We have faith she is in Jehovah’s memory.

Martha lived in Davis off and on since 1984. Services will be held Saturday, April 20th at the Elks Lodge at 500 Bush Street, Woodland, CA 95695. Doors open at noon and services start at 1 p.m.
