Rollin Edward Couper
Aug. 8, 1927-Nov. 22, 2012
A resident of Davis for nearly 50 years. He was born in Weiser, Idaho, to Sidney and May Couper on Aug. 8, 1927, and he died in Roseville on Nov. 22, 2012.
Couper served in the U.S. Navy in WWII, and he attended the University of Oregon. He managed a credit union in Sacramento for 25 years. He played and loved to listen to big band music. He enjoyed golf, traveling and family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jacqueline M. Couper; his daughter Robin (Randall) Shurtz of Cool; his Son Kevin (Beverly) Couper of Davis; his Grandchildren Deidre Shurtz of Cool, Lesley Williamson of Roseville, Brian Couper of Granite Bay, and Michael Couper of Los Angeles; his Great Grandchildren Tyler Williamson and Noah Shultz; his sisters Dorthy (Bob) Duncan of Red Bluff, and Margaret Forster of Oregon; and his numerous nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be held on Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davis Cemetery District, 820 Pole Line Rd., Davis.
